Coffee and Espresso
Our espresso bar features a full service menu from the traditional macchiato to our blended Mocha Margarita. We use our own espresso, developed and roasted right here in the store so come and join us for the most delicious coffee ever. Mountain Market – where food and friends meet.
Deli
We offer a variety of items in our cafe including tortilla wraps, sandwiches, panini, breakfast items, fresh soups, salads, choices for kids and a daily special. We make all our soups from scratch to bring you the best tasting product. Our clam chowder recipe (developed byour store manager and longest standing employee, Deborah Davis) is legendary and not to be missed. We serve it up every Friday which is also pizza day! These two items are very popular so come early or call ahead if you are planning on lunching with us on these days. Our bakery is in production seven days a week so don’t miss out on fresh baked goodies.
In a hurry? Check out our grab-n-go selections in the deli case – breakfast items ready to grill and go, sandwiches, subs and salads. If you have any special requests we are happy to try and accommodate – gluten free, dairy free, etc. just remember – if bacon doesn’t make it better, avocado will!
Pizza
We also offer a pizza menu with a variety of choices including the option for a gluten-free crust. Pizzas can be ordered with a two hour notice until 2:00 pm daily with the last pick up time at 5:00 pm when the cafe closes.
Our little town does get busy at times with weddings and big event weekends such as the Kluane to Chilkat Bike Race Relay in mid June and the Southeast Alaska State Fair in late July. These busy weekends bring an influx of people that sometimes increases the size of our town by 50 percent, (can you imagine that – we only have about 2300 residents), and this makes for a very bustling store and fun times.
